Our Origin Story

You Again Medical was founded by Chris Pixley, a longtime leader in the wellness space with 24 years of industry experience, including 12 years focused specifically on hormone replacement therapy. His vision was simple: create a trusted place where science-backed care empowers individuals to feel strong, energized, and fully themselves again.

The Beginning

Chris Pixley is backed by a proven track record spanning over the last 10 years of owning and operating multiple HRT clinics while simultaneously helping thousands of patients through hormone optimization. But he knew the journey to feeling like yourself again needed more than medical precision, it needed a human-first approach. That's the same approach he brings home every day as a husband to his wife Cindy and a father to Dylan, Jackson, and Faith, and it's what shaped his vision for You Again Medical, a next-generation clinic built from the ground up in Alabama to serve people seeking energy, clarity, and lasting change. Every treatment plan is personal, every conversation is rooted in care, and every result is designed to help you become you again.

Why We Wear Red

Jackson Pixley

June 8, 2006 – August 5, 2025

“In order for Jackson to live,
we have to live.”

On June 8th, 2006, Chris and Cindy Pixley welcomed their son Jackson into the world.

“Chris - my water just broke and I’m about to wake you up because Jackson is going to be here soon. Happy anniversary! I love you, always - Cindy”

That’s what the Happy Anniversary card read, and Chris still has it to this day.

And, just over nineteen years later on August 5th, 2025 at 1:33am, the Pixleys’ lives were changed forever as their middle child, Jackson, passed away from a rare heart condition known as Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.

After receiving the news, from the attending physician, Chris remembers a voice, almost like a memory, that enveloped him as he escorted his best friend and wife, Cindy, to a room he never imagined was possible.

“You better attach the meaning or the meaning will attach to you.”

These words echoed in Chris’s head, as he and Cindy stood on opposite sides of Jackson’s hospital bed.

Leaning down and kissing his son on the forehead, Chris said out loud, “It was a privilege to be your Dad for nineteen years.” And from this meaning, the Pixley mantra was born; “In order for Jackson to live, we have to live.”

Jackson’s legacy would now be carried on by older brother, Dylan and younger sister Faith, who along with Cindy, came up with the idea of wearing something red, Jackson’s favorite color.

And every June (Jackson’s birth month), at You Again Medical, the typical bright teal in our logo changes to red in Jackson’s honor. “Everywhere he went, he lit up the room.” Cindy says, smiling tearfully. “He made such an impact in such a short time, and it is our privilege to carry on his legacy.”

If you look closely in commercials, or happen to run into them at the clinics, you’ll often notice Chris and Dylan, year round, wearing something red because, “In order for Jackson to live, we have to live.”
